Fancy having a go at making your own wedding flowers? Or maybe you’ve volunteered to make the flowers and need a little help and inspiration? Join Ailsa to give the basics a go and create some beautiful florals for that special day.
This relaxed and informative workshop offers hands-on practice, tricks of the trade to help with your floral styling and hints and tips to save money on the day. You will learn how to make a hand tied bouquet, a buttonhole, a small posy jar and a flower crown and will take what you have made home with you.
Ailsa will also talk through care and conditioning of the flowers and foliage and tips of buying seasonal flowers. She will also demonstrate how to make a foliage garland and talk through other table styling - giving you plenty of ideas to take away with you.
A beautiful light lunch and cake will be served by Baked by Desa along with hot & cold drinks through the session.
